Camping at Big Lake 2012

What a view!  We got beachside campsites and this was the view out your tent door.
We camped with five other families from out ward.

 Played a little baseball,

 did lots of boating,

 little bit of fishing,

and lots of playing and being goofy!

Even Sydney got a little silly, although she didn't think it was funny when her brothers were doing it.

Hanging out by the campfire is one of my favorite parts of camping.

We also played some cards, another one of my favorite things to do when camping.

 Getting cozy in the tent.
 Warming up by the fire,
because after tubing you will be cold, cold, cold!

Me on the wakeboard.

Beach Reunion 2012

We were sooooo lucky to have good weather at the beach!

Even mom and Gary got to relax a little, but probably only a little.

 Carson with Uncle Jeremy.

Lots of the kids playing in the water.

My brother Devin and his daughter Kayla.

My sister Monica and her daughter Brooklyn.

Brother-in-law Brian took the guys crabbing and brought a TON of it back.

Then we spent the evening eating the crab.  It was so good!

The beach house we were renting had a hot tub that the kids loved.  I don't think any adults ever got in.

Ice cream cones on the fourth of July.
If it looks cold, well it was.  The temp was ok during the day, but by the time it got late enough for fireworks it was down right chilly!
 Time for fireworks!

Sisters Monica and Trisha were with me here.  All of us were just trying to keep warm.

Mormor's 85th Birthday

In honor of Mormor's 85th birthday, a huge reunion style party was planned.  Inviting all of Mormor's children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  Not everyone could make it, but there was still a good turnout.
Because Mormor is Swedish, that became the theme for the party.
These are some of the great-grandchildren who attended.

The party was held at a park.  It had really unique play equipment that all the kids loved.  It did rain a little, but that didn't stop anyone from having a good time.

Mormor plays her accordian at every party we have.  She is joined by her friends.

The best part of the party was seeing Mormor so happy.  You could tell loved every minute of all the attention.  She even brought a CD of herself singing, which she played on a stereo after she tired of playing and singing "live".

Esplins Visit

Our cousins, the Esplins have arrived.  They are here for our big family reunion.  Luckily they came a little early and my kids got to play with them and get to know them a little before the real craziness begins.  Tyson and Carson loved them!  We had some extra T-Ball shirts from Tyson's team so we gave them to Carter and Kaden.
