Carson's First Haircut

The before picture
During

The Hair

After

I hate it. I miss his curls. I was told by several people that his hair was too long and we should cut it. I finally agreed, but now I regret it. He doesn't even look like the same kid.
What do you think?

The Bee Sting

This is Carson about 10 minutes after getting stung by a bee on the upper lip.

This is the next morning. We always get comments during church about how cute he is, but this Sunday nobody said a word. I wonder why....

First Day of Kindergarden

Here is Sydney's school! It is new this year. Sydney was really excited to go to kindergarden.

Right before leaving.

Sydney and her teacher.

Saying goodbye, she wasn't even sad.

School Bus

This is Sydney's first time ever on a school bus! I'm glad she gets to ride the bus because at our new house we will be walking only. She was really excited, no seat belts or car seats!

Cute Craft

My Sister Erica saw this cute craft idea in a magazine, where you make little tent using hula hoops and some sheets of fabric, then hang them in the trees. The kids love them!

Happy Birthday Honey

Lance turns 21! Oops, I mean 31.

7th Anniversary

For our 7th anniversary we went to dinner at the Melting Pot. Which we both loved and had a great "dining experience". p.s. it's a fondue restaurant

Progression of our New House

I think the pictures say enough. So this is where they were today. I get excited every week to drive down and look at it.

At the Coast

A pretty view point with Sydney.

Grandma Smith is fun to play with at the ocean! The kids couldn't get enough.

Carson had just face-planted. Sand in the mouth and all. It was good timing with camera.

Visiting a light house and enjoying the view.

Checking out the creatures in the tide pools!

Boating in the Heat Wave!

Grandma and Tyson

Sydney and cousin Nathan

Tyson, having just as much fun watching.

Linae and Carson. It was so hot that day, 107 degrees, that all of us, including the baby, had to jump in water every so often.

First Ice Cream Cone

While Grandma Smith was here we took some vacations. One of the places we visited was the Tillamook Cheese Factory, also famous for their icecream. How could we leave Carson out?

Grandma Smith

Lance's mom came to visit for almost two weeks! We were so excited and loved every minute of it! I'm never ready for her to leave. I think she is Sydney's best friend.

Carson Turns One

He wasn't too sure what to think about the candle. Unfortunately, he got some stomach bug and started throwing up earlier in the day. So we didn't let him eat any cake.
