Still Riding

Carson is NOT tired of the powerwheel yet.  We ride it everyday, and I keep thinking that eventually the fun will wear off a little.  But not yet.  Now they tie a jump rope from the powerwheel to a scooter and someone gets towed.  I'll have to get a picture of that later.

Free Haircuts at JCPenny

I saw the commercial for free kid's haircuts at JCPenny for the month of August and decided to take the kids in.  Pretty normal for Tyson, just kind of a buzz (this is the before, and I forgot to take after).

I only have before pictures for Carson too, which is fine because I think they did a poor job.  The haircuts I give him are better.

Sydney, however, got the first MAJOR haircut of her life!  I'm mad I didn't take a good before picture.  Her hair was all the way to her waist or a little past. So I'm adding a baptism picture from January.  She had one trim since then, but it had grown back out a lot.

The new Sydney!

The Road Show 2012

Sydney was a snail in our roadshow titled "If My Mission Call Were Under The Sea".  All the costumes were so great that I'm mad at myself for not taking pictures of all of them.

Carson Turns Four

Good Morning Carson!  Today is your birthday, wow, look at all the balloons and decorations!

The first present he opens is a dollar bill from Sydney, what a thoughtful sister!

All the presents are opened, but wait, there's something more in the garage, what could it be?

He said he knew it!  But isn't any less happy.

 Look at that smile!

He rode that thing ALL day, and did a great job at sharing and taking turns with Sydney, Tyson, and all the neighborhood kids.

Equestrian on the Olympics

This won't be funny to many people, probably just my mom, and Trisha maybe.  But I thought it was soooooo great I just HAD to take a picture!  Of course I've been watching the equestrian events on the olympics, and it's always on during the day so my kids watch it with me.  Then, just last night I looked over at Tyson and Carson, and they had set up a horse jump and were jumping over it!

But the best part is that Tyson had gotten decorative things to put on either side of the jump, to look just like it does in the olympics!

Crafty Kids

My kids LOVE crafts and painting.  Grandma Smith bought these wooden things for the kids to paint.  Carson loved painting so much he kept covering his box with more and more paint.  There was probably 10 coats of paint on there.

Thank you Grandma!
