In the Airport

Going on Vacation! Here we are in the airport waiting to check in. The kids and I were flying to Arizona the visit my dad and sister. My mom came along to help with the kids since Lance had to stay behind and work (she probably wanted to see sister Trisha too).

Sydney's Birthday

Sydney Turns 5!
Sydney is five years old now! On the night before her birthday, Lance told Sydney she would never be four again, and Sydney started to cry! I think the presents made up for it.

Sydney's Birthday

Sydney Turns 5!
I can't believe she's already five. On the night before her birthday, Lance told her she would never be four again, and Sydney started to cry. But then he reminded her about the presents and she perked right up. Sydney's favorite character right now is 'Word Girl', from PBS kids, so that's what she got on her cake. The sad part is she ended up not liking the frosting and hardly eating any cake. She loved the ice cream though.

Smiles

Even Carson was happy to get lots of snow!
He is 4 and half months old in this picture.

Christmas at Grandma's House

I would have preferred to stay the night at our own house, but we continued to get so much snow that driving back and forth would be too dangerous and take too long. So we woke up Christmas morning at Grandma's, and it was still snowing!

Tyson's favorite present, Santa forgot to bring the net, so we had to ask Toy R Us to give us one.

The nativity, Ellie was Mary, Sydney was the Angel, Carson was baby
Jesus, and Nathan was a Shepard.

The snowwoman Sydney and I built on Christmas Eve. Sydney chose
icicles for arms, and sticks for hair.

The nightgowns Grandma made for the girls.

The Great Snow Storm of 2008

Fun in the Snow
Sydney had so much, she would stay outside all day long,
Tyson got tired of the snow after the first day.

Snow, Snow and More Snow!

By this time I was thinking, "Wow, I can't believe we have this
much snow, I have to take a picture!" (this might not seem like much to you
but remember, we don't usually get any snow).
By this time, I really couldn't believe how much snow we had!
So I had to take another picture.

And still, the snow kept coming! We had snow and cold weather for 2 weeks!
Most people got sick of it, but I loved every minute!
