Tonight we went to a parade. Everything in the parade was decorated with lights!

The kids loved it, even though we were a little cold.

I was in a hurry to complete some Thanksgiving desserts, and somehow, while carrying the bag of sugar from the cupboard to the counter, the bag tore and sugar spilled all over the floor. It was a large 10lb bag! Sydney thought it was exciting and wanted to play in the sugar. Tyson thought I should be in trouble and go to time out. I thought it was a big waste.

Gingerbread Houses!

We decorated gingerbread houses at grandma's house again this year. Last year Sydney got tired of decorating before the house was finished, so this year I decided to make the houses smaller. It turned out to be the perfect size. Sydney decoraded hers all by herself. Tyson didn't do anything at all. Grandma ended up decorating his house.

Erica was there with her kids, and she had for a house for each of them. She told be earlier over the phone that she had gotten out of control and made her houses too big, but I was still surprised when I saw Ellie's house. It was almost 2 feet tall! I didn't have my camera, otherwise I would include a picture.

Picture in the Paper

I liked this fall picture of Sydney and Tyson so much, I emailed it to our local newspaper. Today I got the paper and saw they had printed the picture inside the front cover! Lance said "Sydney and Tyson are the most famous people we know!"

Carson on Halloween

It has occured to me that I rarely take pictures of Carson. I'm not sure why, I guess the other kids just do more, so I remember to capture the moment. Anyway, I'll try to do better. I thought I would include this picture of Carson and I on Halloween.

Tyson's First Black Eye

Two days ago Tyson was trying to ride Sydney's scooter in the house. He usually does pretty well on it, but this time he tipped over. He landed with his eye on to the end of the handlebar. He's very accident prone.

Halloween

Halloween at our house! Sydney was "word girl" and Tyson was a baseball player. They loved trick or treating!

I saw that I was tagged. Thanks, I liked reading your stuff, but mostly I like looking at your pictures. This is only the second time I've ever accessed my blog, and each time I seem to be on someone else's computer, which I don't have access to my pictures, which I would like to put on my blog. But I don't know how to put pictures on a blog anyway. I need help.
