The Logging

A year ago or so, my mom had some of her forest logged, and most of my sister have not seen the changes yet, so this post is for them. A log pile somewhere in the back 20.

Looking towards the back of the arena from where the original gate to the back 20 was.

From the bottom of the back 20, looking up the hill that leads back to the barn.

Looking down into the bottom of the back 20.

The red dirt is where all the stump where buried. This at the top of the hill that lead down the hill in the back 20.

The buried stump patch.

The new pasture, behind the arena. Picture was taken from where the back 20 gate was. Grass was planted.

Walking towards the back 20 from the back of the arena.

Same

Back of the arena.

The oak tree staight ahead is the one that we would climb in and had the big horizontal branches. This shows the new fence line.

New fencing just outside the back of the indoor arena and looking to the right towards the outdoor arena and that tree. This area keeps the horses away from the gate, so there is no mud here.

Taken from same place, arena back gate, but looking straight ahead. This is the gate to the new back pasture.

Back of the arena.
